Stryker Colt Wins by Seven
Talented colt Baggio, the most expensive yearling from the first crop of his promising young sire Stryker, went on his winning way at Goulburn on Thursday when bolting clear to win by daylight.
A $220,000 Magic Millions purchase for Jadeskye Racing/ Gerald Ryan from the Three Bridges Thoroughbreds draft, Baggio broke his maiden last start at Gosford, but upped the ante in this Class One event over 1300 metres to win running away by nearly seven lengths as favourite.
Bred and offered for sale by Three Bridges, Baggio is the first foal of Denarii, a half-sister by Dehere (USA) to stakes-winner Instalment from the family of brilliant stakes-winning two year-olds Mirror Mirror and No Looking Back.
Three Bridges will offer the second foal from Denarii, a filly by Stryker at the 2016 Magic Millions Yearling Sale as Lot 154.
Denarii has foaled this spring producing a colt by Magic Millions winner Unencumbered, who has been a super popular new addition to the Three Bridges stallion roster.
