Five Winners in Five Days

Three Bridges Thoroughbreds based young sire Stryker is enjoying a flurry of success with five winners in five days after promising three year-old Welcome Stryker scored at Ballarat on Sunday.

 

Prepared by Danny Curran, Welcome Stryker overcame an outside gate to score a tenacious win in the 1600 metre maiden at his fourth start.

Welcome Stryker was a modest $10,000 purchase for his trainer from the Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale and has already recouped costs!

His win follows hot on the heels of previous wins in the last five days for Rangipo (Ellerslie – Group II Avondale Guineas), She’ll Strykeya (Werribee), Labdien (Moonee Valley) and Union Boss (Launceston).

A blue-blooded son of champion sire Fastnet Rock, Stryker has eight entries for the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale starting this Sunday in Melbourne.
