Smart Sandown Winner Sold by Three Bridges

Astute trainer Mark Kavanagh has enjoyed plenty of success with the progeny of Street Cry (IRE), who delivered him with an impressive winner at Sandown on Wednesday.

 

Four year-old mare Tessabelle, may never trouble the likes of Shocking and Whobegotyou, but she did score a well-deserved success when cruising home to win over 1500 metres by nearly four lengths as favourite.

Placed four times previously and never further back than fifth, Tessabelle led throughout and dominated for Craig Williams.

Bred by Gilgai Farm and consigned for sale on their behalf by Three Bridges, Tessabelle was bought by her trainer for $55,000 at Inglis Premier.

She is the second winner for French Group III winner Varevees (Fr), who died in 2014.
