Bendigo Bracelet for Nadeem’s Lass
The $110,000 Bendigo Gold Bracelet was won on Saturday by talented mare Nadeem Lass, an $80,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the draft of Three Bridges Thoroughbreds. Prepared by Robbie Griffiths, she ended a frustrating run of minor placings to win the 1400 metre event by half a head.
"She’s been very consistent really and always tries,” said stable representative Don Healy.
"It’s great to see her win a race like this, she has a great group of owners who have been with Robbie a long time and been great supporters.”
Bred and offered for sale by Three Bridges, Nadeem Lass has been stakes-placed several times and has won three races and placed 12 times from 32 starts earning nearly $325,000 in prizemoney.
By Blue Diamond winner Nadeem, Nadeem Lass is from good metropolitan winner Danrego, a half-sister by Danzero to five-time Group I winner Eremein and stakes-winner Gliding.
