Three Bridges Cheer Rampage
An impressive debut win at Moonee Valley on Saturday for two year-old colt Rampage was greeted with much delight by the team at Three Bridges Thoroughbreds as his dam Sleight of Hand is now a member of the Three Bridges broodmare band.
The David Hayes and Tom Dabernig trained Rampage looked good in winning and will now head to Sydney for the $500,000 Inglis Nursery on December 12 with the stable optimistic about his chances.
"I think he is a smart horse,” said David Hayes. "He will be hard to beat because he was three wide the trip and he's got a lot of improvement left in him.
"His father (All American) won first-up at the Valley so I hope it's a good omen, hope he's as good as that.”
Sleight of Hand was purchased earlier this year for Three Bridges by Paul Willetts Bloodstock for $30,000 at the Inglis Broodmare Sale.
By Golden Slipper winner Danzero, she is a half-sister to Group II winner Sonic Quest and to the dam of Group II winners Chase the Rainbow and Ms Funovits.
Sleight of Hand produced a lovely black filly by Denman this spring and is now in foal to Unencumbered.
