Three Bridges Draft a Great Southern Highlight
Fresh from starring at the recent Magic Millions National Weanling Sale where we sold the highest priced filly of the sale, Three Bridges Thoroughbreds are poised for more success with a draft of 16 weanlings headed to the Inglis Great Southern Sale starting this Sunday.
A highlight of the draft are youngsters by the stud’s exciting young stallion Unencumbered, whose first progeny sold for up to $80,000 at the Gold Coast.
“Unencumbered is gaining some valuable momentum from his first crop of weanlings on the ground,” said Toby Liston.
“The big positive is that it’s not just coming from Three Bridges, it’s coming from the breeders and clients who have supported him early.
“He has covered quality books of 120 and 125 mares in his first two seasons at stud and it looks as if his third season will be his most popular yet as the interest in him continues to grow.”

Lot 39 Colt Unencumbered x Mearsey First foal from an unraced Snitzel mare Mearsey. We raced her with Anna Meares but she unfortunately never made it to the track. He is just a lovely first foal and has plenty of size and scope and a quality head. He has the best nature and will do both Anna and Unencumbered proud.
Lot 105 Colt Unencumbered x Royale Harmony Lovely balanced colt, strong correct and will be an easy horse to prepare for a yearling sale. It’s always nice to sell good quality youngsters by Unencumbered to get them into other people hands, so more will come to appreciate his merits.
Lot 65 Colt Reset x Ms Guacamolee (USA) This mare produced the first Helmet winner in Australia with Tarnhelm winning by four lengths on debut. From a good American family comes a nice colt by one of Australia’s most underrated stallions in Reset. Pedigree update on Thursday with Ms Guacamolee producing her fourth winner from four foals to race with Zatochio saluting at Mackay.
