Smart Juvenile Winner Sold by Three Bridges
The first winner for leading first crop sire Your Song when he saluted back in November, talented two year-old gelding Bold Kingston resumed from a spell to score at Doomben on Saturday.
Trained by John Zielke a Toowoomba, Bold Kingston travelled just behind the leaders and accelerated to the line to win the open juvenile event over 1200 metres by a half neck taking his overall record to two wins and two placings from six starts with prizemoney topping $76,000.
With the Brisbane Winter Carnival just around the corner, Bold Kingston looks well placed to add to his record in coming weeks and months.
An $80,000 Magic Millions purchase for Dovedeen Pty Ltd from the Three Bridges draft, Bold Kingston is the second winner for Hypatia, a half-sister to stakes-winner Iconic from the family of champions Black Caviar and All Too Hard.
Hypatia has a yearling colt by Unencumbered and was covered again by him last year.
