Biggest Book of Mares for Unencumbered

Official Australian Studbook statistics detailing the most popular sires of 2016 show Unencumbered as one of the most popular sires in Victoria last year.

 

Covering 142 mares in his third season, Unencumbered improved on his figures of the past two years when he served 119 mares and then 126.

He covered the same number of mares as high profile shuttler Toronado (IRE) with the only sires to cover more mares in Victoria being Written Tycoon, Magnus and Reward for Effort.

A brilliant two year-old that won the Magic Millions 2YO Classic, Unencumbered has been given every opportunity to succeed.

Unencumbered will have those all-important follow through crops to build on any early success he achieves when his first runners hit the track later this year.
