Maiden Win for Tykiato
Opening his account at the second time of asking at Moe on Friday was talented three year-old Tykiato, a bargain $6,500 Inglis VOBIS Gold Autumn Yearling purchase from the draft of Three Bridges Thoroughbreds.
Third on debut last month, the John Price trained daughter of Written Tycoon forged clear to win by three-quarters of a length over 1000 metres.
The filly has already recouped her purchase price and there are more wins in store.
A half-sister to Group III placed Starkiato, Tykiato is the second winner for Flying Spur mare Okiato, a grand-daughter of champion mare Pebbles.
Three Bridges Thoroughbreds will be presenting quality drafts at all the majors Australian yearling sales in 2015 starting with Magic Millions in January.
