With Love Spreads the Love
Three Bridges Thoroughbreds have enjoyed much good fortune with their broodmare With Love, who produced a brilliant winner at Kembla on Monday for the Gai Waterhouse stable and is due to foal this spring to their exciting young sire Unencumbered.
Newly gelded three year-old Francesco was thought good enough to contest the Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes last year for the powerful Waterhouse stable, so it was no real surprise when he stepped out for the first time from a long break to win as he pleased.
A $320,000 Magic Millions purchase for Waterhouse and James Harron Bloodstock from the Three Bridges draft, Francesco runs for Greg and Donna Kolivos.
Sent out a short priced favourite for the 1200 metre maiden, the handsome son of Wanted trounced his rivals to win running away by four and a half lengths.
Francesco is the fourth winner from four foals to race from With Love, who has been a gem of a producer for Three Bridges having also delivered stakes-winner Hoss Amor and a lovely Stryker filly that sold for $200,000 in 2014, again bought by Waterhouse and Harron.
With Love has a cracking weanling colt by Pierro and is due to foal this spring to Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Unencumbered, who has been a super popular addition at Three Bridges.
The brilliant son of Testa Rossa stands this season at a fee of $13,200.
